Accucard Credit Cards
A relatively new concern, Accucard was founded in 2000. Along with most new personal finance companies, this one is backed by an established high-street bank: Lloyds TSB. There is no need to worry about getting a credit card from a new company. Lloyds TSB goes back to the 18 th century, when Lloyds Bank was founded in Birmingham (TSB came later, set up in 1810 in Dumfriesshire).
Features of Accucard credit cards
There is quite a lot of leeway in the Accucard credit-card’s design, as within its parameters, you can adjust your interest rate, annual fee and cash-back rate to suit your individual requirements.
If you want a new card in order to make a large purchase, for example, you can start off with a low interest rate while paying off your balance. Then you can switch to a high cash-back rate (higher APR) when you can afford to pay off your bills in full each month.
Bear in mind that although the Accucard offers a certain amount of flexibility, you might be more suited with a card that specialises in whatever it is that fits your criteria. You might prefer a card with an introductory balance-transfer deal or a card offering free travel accident insurance. It is advisable to shop around.
